Origin Story

The MAG-7 Popdog brings a piece of Counter-Strike history to the shotgun, custom painted to resemble a train car with "Pop Dog" emblazoned on its side. This design is a direct nod to the popular "Popdog" ladder callout from the classic Train map. Released on October 18, 2019, as part of The CS20 Collection, this skin commemorates 20 years of Counter-Strike. It stands out as a fun, thematic item for players who appreciate the game's iconic locations.

• Field-Tested ($0.95): Noticeable chipping appears along the edges of the train car panel and front shroud, with some dulling of the red and white accents.
• Well-Worn ($0.71): Significant scratching and chipping are present across the receiver edges, barrel, and stock, giving the train car graphic a heavily weathered look.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.34): Extensive wear is visible, with large sections of the train-car paint heavily scraped and the "Pop Dog" text appearing faded and fragmented.

Model

Popdog uses the legacy MAG-7 model, introduced with Cache and Release on October 18, 2019. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The MAG-7 | Popdog is primarily obtained by opening CS20 Case, which are now part of the rare drop pool. Players can also acquire this Mil-Spec shotgun skin through trade-up contracts, using ten lower-rarity skins from The CS20 Collection. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking. For direct purchase, the skin is readily available on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, and various case-opening or skin trading sites.
