Origin Story

This design was introduced on November 19, 2019, as part of Operation Shattered Web, and belongs to The Canals Collection. The skin's in-game description, "It has been custom painted with a red base and gold filigree," and its flavor text, "Peace be with thee," further enhance its distinctive identity.

How to Obtain

The AWP | The Prince is a rare Covert rifle found within The Canals Collection. It can be acquired as a random end-of-match drop from maps associated with The Canals Collection, typically as a weekly reward for active competitive play. Players can also obtain it through trade-up contracts, using ten lower-rarity skins from the same collection. Alternatively, this skin is available for purchase on the Steam Community Market, various third-party marketplaces, or specialized CS2 case-opening and trading sites.

Drop Chance

AWP | The Prince is Covert, a Red-tier skin, the rarest standard drop grade. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Canals Collection item pool. Map drops follow a weighted rarity system that heavily favors common grades, so Covert drops are uncommon and Valve doesn't publish per-skin odds. It is the only Covert skin in the collection. Most copies enter the market through trade-up contracts or direct purchase at a listed seller's price.
