Origin Story

The Galil AR | Dusk Ruins, released on December 3, 2020, as part of Operation Broken Fang and The Ancient Collection, features ancient gods obscured within a foliage-adorned pattern. Its design evokes a sense of being watched, as hinted by its flavor text, ""Eyes up everyone, we're being watched..."" The skin's aesthetic draws from the mysterious and overgrown ruins of the Ancient map, integrating its visual narrative directly into the weapon's finish.

Galil AR | Dusk Ruins is Mil-Spec, a Blue-tier skin, less common than base collection drops. It has appeared across 8 tournament packages, most recently the Rio 2022 Ancient Souvenir Package, Shanghai 2024 Ancient Souvenir Package, and Stockholm 2021 Ancient Souvenir Package.

These packages were awarded to viewers during major tournaments when watching matches played on the Ancient map. Since these tournaments have concluded, new packages are no longer being distributed.
