The XM1014 | Ancient Lore features a pale green, beige, and red pattern of ancient tiles, evoking carved stone or temple flooring. This design is consistent with the broader Ancient Collection, which debuted with Operation Broken Fang in December 2020 and is themed around Mayan and Aztec-inspired motifs. As a Restricted-tier skin from a map-based collection, its supply is constrained, making it a collectible for those completing the Ancient set or collecting Major Souvenir items.

These packages were historically awarded to viewers during Major tournaments. Since new packages are no longer distributed, players primarily acquire this skin by purchasing existing copies on the Steam Community Market or through third-party marketplaces.
