Origin Story

The P250 | Sand Dune was released on November 27, 2013, as part of the "Out with the old, in with the new" update and is included in The Dust 2 Collection. This pistol features a solid color application, spray-painted in a sand dune color scheme across its individual parts. Its design is characterized by a uniform sand-beige and tan palette, aligning with the desert aesthetic of the Dust 2 map. The P250 | Sand Dune is widely regarded as a basic, budget-friendly skin within the CS2 community.

Drop Chance

P250 | Sand Dune is Consumer Grade, the most common drop tier in CS2. It has appeared across 11 tournament packages, most recently the Katowice 2019 Dust II Souvenir Package, London 2018 Dust II Souvenir Package, and MLG Columbus 2016 Dust II Souvenir Package.


Souvenir Packages are awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the corresponding map, not opened from cases, so Valve doesn't publish per-skin drop odds.
