Origin Story

The Sawed-Off | Snake Camo, released on November 27, 2013, as part of The Dust 2 Collection, features a spray-painted snakeskin stencil pattern. This design, outlined freehand, gives the weapon a distinct desert camouflage look with tan, brown, and muted green tones. Its visual identity is closely tied to other "Snake Camo" skins from the same collection, making it a recognizable part of the classic Dust II aesthetic.

Drop Chance

Sawed-Off | Snake Camo is Industrial Grade, a common skin tier, one step above Consumer Grade. It has appeared across 11 tournament packages, most recently the Katowice 2019 Dust II Souvenir Package, London 2018 Dust II Souvenir Package, and MLG Columbus 2016 Dust II Souvenir Package.


Souvenir Packages are awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the corresponding map, not opened from cases, so Valve doesn't publish per-skin drop odds. Each package contains one item from The Dust 2 Collection, with rarity tiers drawn on a weighted system that heavily favors common grades, meaning Industrial Grade skins like Snake Camo are a small fraction of total package contents. There are 4 other Industrial Grade skins in the collection competing for the same drop slot. New copies only enter the market when a recipient chooses to open their package, so supply trickles in over time even after the tournament ends.

Skin Condition

Float range 0.06 to 0.8. Exteriors: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is not available for this skin.

• Minimal Wear ($0.31): The snakeskin pattern is clean and intact, with crisp stencil edges and the tan, brown, and greenish/olive colors appearing most vibrant.
• Field-Tested ($0.04): Noticeable but moderate edge wear appears on the barrel and body, with slight dulling of colors and some scattered scratches where the underlying metal may begin to show.
• Well-Worn ($0.05): Heavier wear is present on high-contact edges and corners, with larger areas of base metal visible, especially on the barrel and stock; the snakeskin pattern appears faded and more patchy.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.05): Extensive chipping and scratching reveal large patches of base metal, and the snakeskin pattern looks fragmented with some sections nearly gone, creating a very rugged appearance.

Snake Camo uses the legacy Sawed-Off model, introduced with Out with the old, in with the new on November 27, 2013. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The Sawed-Off | Snake Camo is exclusively available as a Souvenir skin, originally distributed in various Dust II Souvenir Packages such as the Atlanta 2017, Berlin 2019, and Cologne 2016 editions. These packages were historically awarded to viewers during Major tournaments for watching live matches on the Dust II map. Players can acquire this skin by purchasing it directly from other users on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or specialized CS2 skin trading sites.
