Origin Story

The MAG-7 | BI83 Spectrum features a custom paint job designed to resemble iridescent bismuth crystals. Released on September 22, 2021, as part of The Operation Riptide Collection, its Gunsmith finish creates a visually distinctive shotgun. The skin's angular, stepped shapes mimic the unique structure of bismuth, with colors shifting between cyan, magenta, yellow, and purple depending on the viewing angle. This MAG-7 stands out as a collector's piece due to its striking crystal motif and its origin from a time-limited operation.

• Minimal Wear ($3.48): The crystal pattern remains nearly pristine, with only slight softening of edge perfection and minor scratches, primarily visible on close inspection.
• Field-Tested ($2.50): Wear becomes noticeable with chipping on the edges of the receiver, fore-end, and stock, and some dulling of the iridescent effect on frequently handled areas.
• Well-Worn ($2.58): Color vibrancy is reduced, and scratches and chips are clearly visible on most leading edges and corners, with the pattern appearing more disrupted.
• Battle-Scarred ($2.99): High-contact surfaces show heavy wear with substantial chipping and exposed base material, causing the iridescent crystals to look fragmented and muted.

BI83 Spectrum uses the current MAG-7 model, added with Operation Riptide on September 22, 2021. The Gunsmith finish responds to CS2's dynamic lighting.

How to Obtain

The MAG-7 | BI83 Spectrum is primarily found by opening an Operation Riptide Case. Players can also acquire it through trade-up contracts using ten lower-rarity skins from The Operation Riptide Collection. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking. For direct purchase, the skin is available on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or case-opening sites.
