Origin Story

The R8 Revolver | Crazy 8, released on July 1, 2022, as part of The Recoil Collection, features a bold purple barrel and a prominent number 8 on its grip. This design choice is directly inspired by the events of December 8th, 2015, as noted in its flavor text. As a Restricted rarity skin from the Recoil Case, it serves as a mid-tier collector's item within the collection. The skin's distinctive purple and "8" motif makes it a thematic choice for loadouts referencing its specific inspiration.

How to Obtain

The R8 Revolver | Crazy 8 is primarily found by opening the Recoil Case, which remains in the active rare case drop pool in CS2. As a Restricted skin, it can also be obtained through trade-up contracts using ten lower-rarity skins from The Recoil Collection. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking. For direct purchase, players can acquire this skin from the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or various case-opening and skin-trading sites.
