M4A1-S | Вейпорвейв

Origin Story

The M4A1-S Vaporwave features a custom paint job depicting a Greco-Roman statue alongside distorted imagery from a bygone era, evoking a hypnagogic dream. This design was introduced on October 4, 2024, as part of The Armory update and is included in The Gallery Collection. Its aesthetic draws inspiration from vaporwave, a style characterized by nostalgic visuals and digital distortions.

Drop Chance

M4A1-S | Vaporwave is Covert, a Red-tier skin, the rarest standard drop grade. From the Gallery Case: approximately 0.32% per opening (roughly 1 in 312). The 0.64% Covert tier rate is split across 2 Covert skins in the case. StatTrak versions drop at ~0.03% from the Gallery Case (about 1 in 3,125). These per-skin odds assume equal weighting within tier — Valve publishes tier rates but doesn't formally confirm even distribution across skins in a tier.

Skin Condition

Float range 0 to 0.6. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is available in FN, MW, FT, WW, BS.

• Factory New ($157.82): The purple and pink paint application is pristine across the M4A1-S body.
• Minimal Wear ($84.76): Minor scuffs begin to appear on the edges of the suppressor and receiver.
• Field-Tested ($54.28): Noticeable wear and paint loss are visible on the suppressor and magazine, with some degradation to the overall pattern.
• Well-Worn ($55.62): Significant areas of paint are worn away, particularly on the suppressor and stock, revealing the underlying material.
• Battle-Scarred ($43.61): The M4A1-S shows extensive paint abrasion and scratching across most surfaces, heavily obscuring the original design.
