Origin Story

The M249 | Spectrogram, released on October 4, 2024, as part of The Armory update, introduces a modern, graphic-design-inspired aesthetic to the heavy machine gun. It features a custom green and blue halftone pattern, giving the weapon a distinctive visual texture. This skin is a component of The Graphic Design Collection, which emphasizes bold, contemporary finishes. Its in-game description notes it has been custom painted with this green and blue halftone.

Drop Chance

M249 | Spectrogram is Industrial Grade, a common skin tier, one step above Consumer Grade. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Graphic Design Collection item pool.
