Origin Story

The FAMAS Halftone Wash features a custom painted blue and grey halftone splash pattern. Its vibrant graphic design aesthetic was introduced on October 4, 2024, as part of The Armory update. The skin's in-game flavor text notes that "Even the calmest waters can quickly change," hinting at its dynamic appearance. As an Industrial Grade skin, it provides an accessible option for players.

Drop Chance

FAMAS | Halftone Wash is Industrial Grade, a common skin tier, one step above Consumer Grade. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Graphic Design Collection item pool. Map drops follow a weighted rarity system that heavily favors common grades, so Industrial Grade drops are uncommon and Valve doesn't publish per-skin odds. Float range 0 to 0.5. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn. StatTrak is not available for this skin.

• Factory New ($1.22): The blue and grey halftone splash pattern appears fully intact with strong color saturation and crisp edges, showing minimal to no visible scratches.
• Minimal Wear ($0.66): Small edge wear may begin to appear on sharp corners like the handguard and magazine, slightly dulling the halftone pattern in those areas.
• Field-Tested ($0.26): More noticeable chipping and fading occur along edges and high-contact zones, with some halftone pattern areas appearing patchy as darker base surfaces show through.
• Well-Worn ($0.28): Heavy edge wear and widespread thinning of the paint are present, leading to larger patches of base material showing on the front assembly and stock; the blue/grey areas may look significantly duller.
