Origin Story

The SSG 08 | Memorial, released on April 1, 2025, as part of the Spring Forward update, joins The Fever Collection with a custom paint job. Its design features bronze engravings inspired by the concrete efficiency of brutalist architecture. This distinctive aesthetic is further underscored by the flavor text, "May your sacrifice not be in vain."

• Minimal Wear ($0.31): Very faint wear may begin to appear on high-contact edges like the muzzle or scope rim, but the overall design remains almost entirely intact.
• Field-Tested ($0.13): Noticeable softening of the bronze and concrete tones occurs, with more visible edge wear and small areas where the underlying material may show through, particularly on the front of the rifle.
• Well-Worn ($0.10): Larger areas of the bronze and concrete-like finish are faded, and more of the base texture becomes exposed, especially near the barrel and stock.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.09): Significant paint loss and heavy edge wear are present, causing the engraved details to appear heavily degraded and the pattern to look substantially worn.

Model

Memorial uses the current SSG 08 model, added with Spring Forward on April 1, 2025. The Gunsmith finish responds to CS2's dynamic lighting.

How to Obtain

The SSG 08 | Memorial is primarily obtained through opening the Fever Case. Players can also acquire this Mil-Spec rifle skin by participating in trade-up contracts, using ten lower-rarity skins from The Fever Collection. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking. For direct purchase, the skin is available on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, and various case-opening or skin-trading sites.
