Origin Story

The MAG-7 | Copper Oxide, released on April 1, 2025, as part of the Spring Forward update, features a two-tone design of blue and rose gold. The skin is a Consumer Grade item from The Boreal Collection, making it a common MAG-7 option.

Drop Chance

MAG-7 | Copper Oxide is Consumer Grade, the most common drop tier in CS2. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Boreal Collection item pool. Map drops follow a weighted rarity system that heavily favors common grades, so Consumer Grade drops are uncommon and Valve doesn't publish per-skin odds. • Field-Tested ($0.03): Noticeable chipping appears along edges and corners, with some small exposed-metal spots on mid-surface areas of the receiver and fore-end.
• Well-Worn ($0.03): Edge wear becomes clearly prominent, with larger regions of base material showing on sharp corners and leading edges; some streaking may appear on the main color fields.
