Origin Story

The MAC-10 Acid Hex, released on April 1, 2025, as part of the Spring Forward update, features a green hydrographic hex pattern. Its in-game description notes it has been "painted with a green hydrographic hex pattern," complemented by the flavor text "Hex marks the spot." This Industrial Grade skin is part of The Boreal Collection.

Drop Chance

MAC-10 | Acid Hex is Industrial Grade, a common skin tier, one step above Consumer Grade. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Boreal Collection item pool. Map drops follow a weighted rarity system that heavily favors common grades, so Industrial Grade drops are uncommon and Valve doesn't publish per-skin odds. There are 8 other Industrial Grade skins in the collection competing for the same drop slot. Most copies enter the market through trade-up contracts or direct purchase at a listed seller's price.

Float range 0 to 0.58. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is not available for this skin.

• Factory New ($0.27): The green hex pattern is fully intact and crisp, with no visible edge wear.
• Minimal Wear ($0.11): The hex pattern remains vibrant, with very light wear beginning on the muzzle and sharp corners.
• Field-Tested ($0.05): Noticeable fading and wear appear on high-contact edges, and the green hex pattern may look less uniform.
• Well-Worn ($0.04): The hydrographic layer is significantly worn on prominent areas, with the underlying material starting to show through.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.05): The green hex pattern is heavily degraded, especially on the muzzle and forward receiver, with large areas showing worn base material.
