Origin Story

The AWP | Green Energy, released on April 1, 2025, as part of the Spring Forward update, originates from The Boreal Collection. This Classified rarity skin features a custom paint job with a striking green metallic flake finish, accented by a bold yellow streak running along its length. Its visually distinct color palette of green and yellow differentiates it from other AWP skins, potentially appealing to players who curate themed inventories. As a newer, high-end AWP option, it offers a premium aesthetic without yet having developed a specific community reputation or famous crafts.

Drop Chance

AWP | Green Energy is Classified, a Pink-tier skin, rare with strong collector demand. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Boreal Collection item pool. Map drops follow a weighted rarity system that heavily favors common grades, so Classified drops are uncommon and Valve doesn't publish per-skin odds. • Minimal Wear ($29.09): Subtle edge wear may appear on the muzzle, barrel tip, or sharp corners of the scope and receiver, but the green and yellow elements remain nearly pristine.
• Field-Tested ($12.42): Noticeable edge wear begins to appear on the barrel, scope, and receiver corners, with the yellow streak possibly showing minor interruptions or chipping.
• Well-Worn ($12.39): Heavy edge wear is present on the barrel, scope, and receiver, causing the green metallic effect to dull and the yellow streak to appear fragmented.
• Battle-Scarred ($6.10): Extensive wear covers the weapon, with significant chipping and large areas of exposed base material, and the yellow streak may be broken or patchy.
