Origin Story

The P90 | Straight Dimes, released on April 1, 2025, as part of the Spring Forward update, is a distinctive weapon skin from The Train 2025 Collection. Its custom paint job gives it the appearance of being crudely welded together, a look reinforced by its flavor text, "That'll hold." This Gunsmith finish creates an industrial aesthetic with visible seams and rough joins. The skin is available in all wear tiers, from Factory New to Battle-Scarred.

Drop Chance

P90 | Straight Dimes is Industrial Grade, a common skin tier, one step above Consumer Grade. It appeared in the Austin 2025 Train Souvenir Package and Budapest 2025 Train Souvenir Package.


Souvenir Packages are awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the corresponding map, not opened from cases, so Valve doesn't publish per-skin drop odds. Each package contains one item from The Train 2025 Collection, with rarity tiers drawn on a weighted system that heavily favors common grades, meaning Industrial Grade skins like Straight Dimes are a small fraction of total package contents. There are 5 other Industrial Grade skins in the collection competing for the same drop slot. New copies only enter the market when a recipient chooses to open their package, so supply trickles in over time even after the tournament ends.

Skin Condition

Float range 0 to 1. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is not available for this skin.

• Factory New ($3.26): Weld seams and panel lines appear crisp and well-defined, with metallic surfaces retaining full sheen.
• Minimal Wear ($0.21): Only small edge wear starts to appear on exposed metal corners and leading edges, with weld seams remaining cleanly visible.
• Field-Tested ($0.07): Noticeable edge wear appears on the front shroud, rail, and outer frame, with more underlying metal showing through.
• Well-Worn ($0.06): Large portions of edge and panel wear are present, with colors appearing duller and the weapon looking heavily used.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.05): Extensive chipping and exposed base metal are visible, especially along edges, with the weld and patchwork theme partly obscured by wear.

Straight Dimes uses the current P90 model, added with Spring Forward on April 1, 2025. The Gunsmith finish responds to CS2's dynamic lighting.

The P90 | Straight Dimes is exclusively available in Souvenir quality, originating from Austin 2025 Train Souvenir Package and Budapest 2025 Train Souvenir Package. These packages were historically distributed to viewers during Major tournaments as drops for watching matches on the Train map, and new packages are no longer being distributed. To acquire this skin today, buyers typically purchase it directly from other players on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or through various case-opening and skin trading sites.
