Origin Story

The Galil AR | Hunting Blind, released on November 27, 2013, as part of The Mirage Collection, features a design spray-painted freehand using mesh fabric as a stencil. This utilitarian aesthetic gives the weapon a distinctive, camouflaged appearance. The skin was introduced during the "Out with the old, in with the new" update. Its Spray-Paint finish style results in a matte, stencil-based pattern.

Drop Chance

Galil AR | Hunting Blind is Consumer Grade, the most common drop tier in CS2. It has appeared across 13 tournament packages, most recently the Krakow 2017 Mirage Souvenir Package, London 2018 Mirage Souvenir Package, and MLG Columbus 2016 Mirage Souvenir Package.


Souvenir Packages are awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the corresponding map, not opened from cases, so Valve doesn't publish per-skin drop odds. Hunting Blind uses the legacy Galil AR model, introduced with Out with the old, in with the new on November 27, 2013. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The Galil AR | Hunting Blind is exclusively available as a Souvenir item, originally distributed in event-specific packages such as the Atlanta 2017 Mirage Souvenir Package and the ESL One Cologne 2014 Mirage Souvenir Package. These packages were awarded to viewers during major CS:GO tournaments who watched matches on the Mirage map. Players acquire this skin today by purchasing it on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or through various case-opening and skin trading sites.
