Origin Story

The MP7 | Orange Peel debuted on November 27, 2013, as part of The Mirage Collection, released alongside the "Out with the old, in with the new" update. Its design features a spray-painted finish, achieved by using masking tape as a stencil to create a distinctive pattern. The in-game description notes this technique, describing it as "spray-painted using a tangle of masking tape as a stencil." This method gives the skin its characteristic orange and black appearance. The flavor text, "True power is demonstrated with subtle application," hints at the understated yet effective nature of its visual style.

Drop Chance

MP7 | Orange Peel is Industrial Grade, a common skin tier, one step above Consumer Grade. It has appeared across 13 tournament packages, most recently the Krakow 2017 Mirage Souvenir Package, London 2018 Mirage Souvenir Package, and MLG Columbus 2016 Mirage Souvenir Package.


Souvenir Packages are awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the corresponding map, not opened from cases, so Valve doesn't publish per-skin drop odds.
