The Flip Knife | Fade is a classic Arms Deal knife finish, introduced on August 14, 2013, with The Arms Deal update. Its visual signature is an anodized multicolored fade over a chrome base, where transparent paints are airbrushed to blend from gold into pink and purple tones. This creates a highly visible color gradient along the blade face and spine, which are the primary visual elements in first-person view. Often regarded as a high-tier status symbol, particularly in high fade percentages, the skin is considered one of the premium finishes within the Flip Knife family.
