Origin Story

The M9 Bayonet | Fade, released on August 14, 2013, with The Arms Deal update, is a classic high-end knife known for its distinctive gradient. Its blade features transparent paints airbrushed over a chrome base coat, creating a vibrant fade of yellow, gold, magenta, and purple. This finish is consistently regarded as a premium status item within the community, often ranked among the most prestigious vanilla-style knife finishes. The M9 Bayonet | Fade is also valued as a collector's item due to its rarity and limited float range, with only Factory New and very low Minimal Wear versions available.

How to Obtain

The M9 Bayonet | Fade can be acquired as a rare special item from opening the original CS:GO Weapon Case, CS:GO Weapon Case 2, or CS:GO Weapon Case 3. These cases are no longer in the active drop pool but can still be obtained as rare drops or purchased on the Steam Community Market. Players can also purchase this knife directly from the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or various case-opening and skin trading sites. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking.
