Origin Story

The Five-SeveN | Hot Shot, released on August 8, 2014, as part of The Cache Collection during the Cologne 2014 update, features a clean two-tone design. Its light grey base and vibrant hot green accents provide a distinct visual. This skin is recognized as a budget-friendly sidearm that complements green-themed inventories. While not a high-end collector's item, it remains a notable piece from a legacy map collection.

Drop Chance

Five-SeveN | Hot Shot is Industrial Grade, a common skin tier, one step above Consumer Grade. It has appeared across 12 tournament packages, most recently the Krakow 2017 Cache Souvenir Package, London 2018 Cache Souvenir Package, and MLG Columbus 2016 Cache Souvenir Package.


Souvenir Packages are awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the corresponding map, not opened from cases, so Valve doesn't publish per-skin drop odds. Each package contains one item from The Cache Collection, with rarity tiers drawn on a weighted system that heavily favors common grades, meaning Industrial Grade skins like Hot Shot are a small fraction of total package contents. • Factory New ($99.84): The light grey base and hot green accents are expected to be clean and uniform, with maximum color vibrancy across the weapon's frame and slide.
• Minimal Wear ($13.88): Only subtle edge wear may appear on the slide, muzzle, or sharp corners, while the overall light grey and hot green colors remain bright.
• Field-Tested ($6.26): More obvious chipping and surface wear typically begin to show along the slide edges, near the muzzle, and around the grip areas, with the hot green accents still clearly visible.
• Well-Worn ($4.16): Heavier, more continuous wear patches are expected, with a larger proportion of exposed underlayer on the front and top of the slide and leading edges, making the green accents appear more broken-up.
• Battle-Scarred ($4.20): Extensive paint loss and surface scuffing are common, with significant portions of the light grey and hot green segments looking fragmented and the overall color impression becoming darker.

It was distributed via specific tournament souvenir packages, including the Atlanta 2017 Cache Souvenir Package, Boston 2018 Cache Souvenir Package, and ESL One Cologne 2014 Cache Souvenir Package, among others. These packages were awarded to viewers during Major tournaments. Since new packages are no longer distributed, the skin is primarily acquired today by purchasing existing copies on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or through case-opening and skin trading sites.
