Origin Story

The Gut Knife | Tiger Tooth was introduced on January 8, 2015, as part of the Full Spectrum update, accompanying the original Chroma Case line. Its blade features an anodized orange finish, hand-etched with a distinctive black tiger stripe pattern. This design creates a flashy gold appearance that has broad appeal among players. While the Gut Knife model itself has a divisive silhouette, the Tiger Tooth finish is generally considered a clean-looking and popular option within the knife category.

How to Obtain

The Gut Knife | Tiger Tooth is primarily acquired as a rare special item from opening Chroma, Chroma 2, or Chroma 3 cases. Since these Chroma cases are no longer in the active drop pool, new supply is limited to existing cases. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking. Players can also purchase this knife directly from the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or various case-opening and skin trading sites.
