AWP | Hyper Beast

Origin Story

Operation Bloodhound wanted a headliner, so the AWP got a monster. Hyper Beast splashes a snarling, neon creature across the receiver – teeth, tendrils, and fluorescent scales that look born for stage lights and stream thumbnails. One inspect and you know it belongs in a highlight reel.

Drop Chance

Covert tier split across two items using Valve’s baseline:

Any Hyper Beast – ≈ 0.32% (≈ 1 in 313)
StatTrak – ≈ 0.032% (≈ 1 in 3,125)
Non-StatTrak – ≈ 0.288% (≈ 1 in 347)

Skin Condition

Float 0.00–1.00. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred.

• Factory New 0.00–0.07 – neon saturation and creature detail stay razor sharp.
• Minimal Wear 0.07–0.15 – faint edge rub; colors still punchy on body and scope.
• Field-Tested 0.15–0.38 – visible wear on high-contact edges; art remains readable.
• Well-Worn 0.38–0.45 – muted saturation and broader rub on plates.
• Battle-Scarred 0.45–1.00 – heavy wear with dark base peeking through; still iconic.

Model

CS:GO legacy model – renders in CS2 with brighter speculars and tighter contrast, which makes saturation, outlines, and small wear changes more visible at distance.

How to Obtain

Open a Falchion Case to roll it, or buy via the Steam Community Market and reputable third-party trades as supply rotates.

Price Range

Typical listings sit $33.02–$269.96. Low floats and clean faceplate lines price higher – scope scuffs and heavy edge wear push toward the floor.

Visual Theme

Custom Paint Job – a psychedelic beast sweeping across the receiver with high-contrast neon strokes that pop under Source 2 lighting. The large AWP surfaces showcase gradients and teeth detail; clean scope zones and uninterrupted facial features photograph best and tend to command stronger bids. Flavor text: “You really want to impress me Booth? Make this black light sensitive.”
