Origin Story

The Five-SeveN | Retrobution, released on December 8, 2015, as part of The Revolver Case Collection, features a custom-painted retro hydrographic. Its design combines orange, yellow, black, and off-white in a graphic pattern across the weapon, evoking a distinct vintage aesthetic. The skin's flavor text, "Some things never go out of style," perfectly encapsulates its thematic appeal. As a Restricted rarity pistol from a legacy case, it offers a nostalgic option for players and collectors.

Five-SeveN | Retrobution is Restricted, a Purple-tier skin in the upper half of the rarity ladder. From the Revolver Case: approximately 2.66% per opening (roughly 1 in 38). The 15.98% Restricted tier rate is split across 6 Restricted skins in the case. StatTrak versions drop at ~0.27% from the Revolver Case (about 1 in 376). These per-skin odds assume equal weighting within tier — Valve publishes tier rates but doesn't formally confirm even distribution across skins in a tier.

Float range 0 to 1. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is available in FN, MW, FT, WW, BS.

• Factory New ($31.18): The retro pattern is fully intact with crisp orange, yellow, black, and off-white shapes and lines across the slide and frame.
• Minimal Wear ($4.44): The retro pattern remains clean and vibrant, with only small nicks or faint wear appearing on high-contact corners like the muzzle and slide edges.
• Field-Tested ($1.95): Noticeable but moderate wear appears on the slide edges and muzzle, with parts of the retro pattern starting to chip and expose the base metal.
• Well-Worn ($1.39): Heavier chipping and scratching are present along most edges, causing sections of the retro pattern, especially near the muzzle, to appear broken up with exposed darker base.
• Battle-Scarred ($1.46): Significant pattern loss occurs on high-contact areas, with large portions of the slide and frame showing worn-through patches and the retro shapes appearing fragmented and faded.

Model

Retrobution uses the legacy Five-SeveN model, introduced with CS:GO’s Winter Update on December 8, 2015. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The Five-SeveN | Retrobution is primarily found by opening The Revolver Case. As a Restricted rarity skin, it can also be obtained via trade-up contracts using ten lower-rarity skins from The Revolver Case Collection. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking. For direct purchase, players can acquire the skin on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or various case-opening and skin-trading sites. The Revolver Case is no longer an active drop, making existing cases the main source of new supply.
