Origin Story

The Tec-9 | Ice Cap, released on June 16, 2016, as part of The Gamma Collection with the Gamma Exposure update, features a blue and white abstract hydrographic. Ice Cap uses the legacy Tec-9 model, introduced with Gamma Exposure on June 16, 2016. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

The Tec-9 | Ice Cap is primarily obtained through standard case openings of the Gamma Case. Players can also acquire this Mil-Spec pistol through trade-up contracts, using ten lower-rarity skins from The Gamma Collection. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking.
