USP-S | Извилины

Origin Story

USP-S | Cortex was introduced during the Welcome to the Clutch update, bringing a bold, stylized approach to the USP-S lineup. Instead of realism or technical illustration, Cortex leans fully into graphic art: swirling pink brain matter, skeletal elements, and comic-inspired shading give it a look that stands out instantly. Its exaggerated artwork and contrasting colors made it a memorable addition from the moment it debuted.

Drop Chance

Rarity Tier: Classified

Tier Base Drop Chance: 3.20%
Classified Skins in Clutch Case: 3

USP-S | Cortex (any quality, non-StatTrak): ≈ 1.07% per case

StatTrak™ USP-S | Cortex: ≈ 0.11% per case

These odds apply per individual Clutch Case opening and assume the case is openable under standard CS2/CS:GO conditions. Because Classified drops are rare and the Classified pool is small, Cortex remains relatively uncommon among opened cases.

Skin Condition

Cortex features a broad float range of 0.00 – 1.00, allowing it to drop in every possible wear grade.

• Low-float versions showcase crisp linework and vibrant pink accents across the brain-styled elements. Mid-range floats introduce some fading on the slide and suppressor, though the artwork remains bold. High-float Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred variants develop heavy wear along the silver slide, giving the skin a grungier, scratched-up aesthetic while still retaining its core visual identity.

Model

USP-S | Cortex originates from CS:GO, making it a legacy skin.
In CS2, it continues to use the legacy USP-S model, preserving its original shading, materials, and proportions.

It’s a bold, expressive design aimed at players who like their pistol skins to make a statement.
