Origin Story

The Talon Knife | Crimson Web, released with the A New Horizon update, features a deep red base coat hydrographically painted with a black spider web pattern, finished with a semi-gloss topcoat. This distinctive design and the knife's high rarity tier contribute to its reputation as a high-end, status item within the CS2 community. Its visual appeal is further enhanced by the Talon Knife's unique hooked tip, where the web pattern is prominently displayed.

Drop Chance

Talon Knife | Crimson Web is a knife-tier skin, so standard Valve rarity odds don't apply. Knives drop at a combined rate of approximately 0.26% from supported cases before accounting for which knife type and finish you get. Valve doesn't publish individual knife or phase probabilities.

Skin Condition

Float range 0.06 to 0.8. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is available in MW, FT, WW, BS.

• Minimal Wear ($856.10): The red base remains rich with the spider-web pattern clearly defined, though minor edge wear may appear on the tip, front hook, and spine. This is the cleanest possible appearance for the skin.
• Field-Tested ($525.00): Noticeable chipping along edges and around the hooked tip becomes apparent, and the red base appears slightly less vibrant.
• Well-Worn ($524.57): Extensive edge wear and chipping are present, especially on the forward curve of the blade and tip, with the red base appearing duller and the web pattern fragmented.
• Battle-Scarred ($459.77): Heavy wear covers all edges and large parts of the blade, with significant red paint loss and exposed grey metal areas, making the web pattern partially obscured.

Model

Crimson Web uses the legacy Talon Knife model, introduced with A New Horizon on August 3, 2018. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking. This rare special melee item is acquired on the secondary market, including the Steam Community Market and third-party marketplaces, at the current listed price.
