Origin Story

The UMP-45 | Mudder, released on September 1, 2018, as part of The 2018 Inferno Collection, features a hydrographic finish with a marbleized pattern. Its design is characterized by muted browns, beige, and dark earthy tones, creating a distinct, irregular swirl across the weapon's body. As a Consumer Grade skin, it functions primarily as a budget-friendly option within its collection. The Mudder was introduced alongside the FACEIT 2018 London Major update, tying it to the Inferno map.

Drop Chance

UMP-45 | Mudder is Consumer Grade, the most common drop tier in CS2. It has appeared across 11 tournament packages, most recently the Rio 2022 Inferno Souvenir Package, Shanghai 2024 Inferno Souvenir Package, and Stockholm 2021 Inferno Souvenir Package.


Souvenir Packages are awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the corresponding map, not opened from cases, so Valve doesn't publish per-skin drop odds. Each package contains one item from The 2018 Inferno Collection, with rarity tiers drawn on a weighted system that heavily favors common grades, meaning Consumer Grade skins like Mudder are a small fraction of total package contents. There are 4 other Consumer Grade skins in the collection competing for the same drop slot. New copies only enter the market when a recipient chooses to open their package, so supply trickles in over time even after the tournament ends.

Float range 0.06 to 0.8. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is not available for this skin.

• Factory New ($1.00): The marbleized pattern appears sharp and fully opaque, with the richest browns and beiges and minimal dulling.
• Minimal Wear ($0.06): The pattern remains very intact, with only light edge wear and barely visible fading on commonly handled surfaces; this is likely the value pick for a clean appearance.
• Field-Tested ($0.03): Noticeable edge wear appears along the handguard, mag, and stock, plus some soft fading in mid-panel areas, making wear visible in normal play.
• Well-Worn ($0.03): Heavier fading and chipping occur on edges, with some areas of the pattern looking significantly dulled, and the overall tone shifts toward a more washed-out brown/grey.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.03): Significant fading of the Hydrographic layer leaves large areas appearing flat and desaturated, with the marble swirls harder to distinguish, making this the lowest-budget play condition.

It was originally distributed within Souvenir Packages, such as the Antwerp 2022 Inferno Souvenir Package, Berlin 2019 Inferno Souvenir Package, and London 2018 Inferno Souvenir Package, awarded to viewers during Major tournaments. As new packages are no longer distributed, the current supply is limited to existing items. Buyers can acquire this skin by purchasing it directly from other players on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or through various case-opening and skin trading sites.
