Origin Story

The Desert Eagle | Mudder, released on November 27, 2013, as part of the "Out with the old, in with the new" update, hails from The Lake Collection. This skin features a hydrographic finish, painted with a marbleized pattern that gives it a distinct muddy brown, olive, and muted tan appearance. It is generally regarded as a low-tier, industrial-grade option, primarily serving as a budget Desert Eagle skin or as filler for collection completion and trade-ups. While not a premium collector's item, its subdued, earthy tones offer a camouflaged look.

Drop Chance

Desert Eagle | Mudder is Industrial Grade, a common skin tier, one step above Consumer Grade. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Lake Collection item pool. Map drops follow a weighted rarity system that heavily favors common grades, so Industrial Grade drops are uncommon and Valve doesn't publish per-skin odds. There are 4 other Industrial Grade skins in the collection competing for the same drop slot. Most copies enter the market through trade-up contracts or direct purchase at a listed seller's price.

Float range 0.06 to 0.8. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is not available for this skin.

• Factory New ($24.20): The marbleized muddy and olive tones are fully saturated and uniform, with the pattern appearing crisp and intact across the slide and barrel.
• Minimal Wear ($0.32): The marbleized pattern remains nearly identical to Factory New, showing only small rub marks on extreme edges like the muzzle and slide corners.
• Field-Tested ($0.10): Edge wear and small patches of fade become clearly visible on the slide and barrel, especially around the muzzle, though the marbleized pattern is still recognizable.
• Well-Worn ($0.11): Noticeable chipping and fading appear along most major edges, with larger bare-metal patches likely on the barrel and slide ridges, and the pattern appears more washed-out.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.12): Significant wear and fading result in extensive exposed base material along the slide, barrel, and frame edges, with the marbleized pattern appearing patchy or heavily thinned.

Model

Mudder uses the legacy Desert Eagle model, introduced with Out with the old, in with the new on November 27, 2013. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The Desert Eagle | Mudder originates from The Lake Collection, which no longer drops through normal gameplay in CS2. Players can acquire this Industrial Grade skin through trade-up contracts using ten lower-rarity skins from the same collection. It is also readily available for purchase on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, and various CS2 skin trading sites. A Souvenir-quality variant of this skin also exists, which can be acquired through similar market channels.
