Origin Story

The R8 Revolver | Canal Spray was released on November 19, 2019, as part of Operation Shattered Web, belonging to The Canals Collection. This skin features short, diagonal bursts of blue spray paint across a dark base, providing a straightforward, utilitarian look. Its design directly reflects the in-game description, "It has been spray-painted with short, diagonal bursts of blue paint." The skin is tied to the Canals map, making it part of a collection themed around Venice and Italy.

Drop Chance

R8 Revolver | Canal Spray is Consumer Grade, the most common drop tier in CS2. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Canals Collection item pool. • Field-Tested ($3.31): Noticeable chipping and fading appear along the leading edges and high-contact surfaces, revealing more base metal on the front of the frame, barrel edges, and cylinder ridges.
• Well-Worn ($3.14): Substantial edge wear is present, with many raised areas of the frame and barrel showing exposed, dull base metal, and blue spray streaks becoming noticeably faded and fragmented.
• Battle-Scarred ($2.54): Extensive paint loss occurs on most raised and high-contact surfaces, with large areas of the frame, cylinder, and barrel showing bare or nearly bare base metal, and remaining blue spray appearing very faded and patchy.

Canal Spray uses the legacy R8 Revolver model, introduced with Operation Shattered Web on November 19, 2019. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

Since The Canals Collection is no longer in the active drop pool, new copies primarily enter circulation through trade-up contracts using ten lower-rarity skins from the same collection.
