The Nomad Knife | Boreal Forest was introduced on November 19, 2019, as part of the Operation Shattered Web update, bringing a new knife model with a classic camouflage finish. Its design features a forest camouflage hydrographic, utilizing muted greens, olives, browns, and blacks. This finish is often considered a budget-friendly choice for players seeking the Nomad knife model or those building a military-themed loadout. The Nomad knife itself is valued for its unique inspect animation and substantial feel. While not a status symbol, it provides a functional aesthetic for players who appreciate a combat-ready look.

• Factory New ($229.58): The green, olive, brown, and black forest camouflage pattern is crisp and fully covers the blade and handle with minimal visible scratches.
• Minimal Wear ($141.27): Only light wear appears on the tip and along the cutting edge, with the camouflage pattern remaining mostly intact.
• Field-Tested ($116.00): Noticeable wear on high-contact edges causes the camo to break up around the tip, spine, and near the handle, revealing more dark base metal.
• Well-Worn ($134.05): Heavy chipping along edges and parts of the blade leaves the remaining camo faded and patchy, with a grittier appearance.
• Battle-Scarred ($112.84): Camo coverage is substantially reduced, especially on leading edges, making large areas appear dark and heavily worn with a washed-out pattern.

Model

Boreal Forest uses the legacy Nomad Knife model, introduced with Operation Shattered Web on November 19, 2019. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The Nomad Knife | Boreal Forest can be acquired as a rare special item from the Operation Shattered Web Case, Fracture Case, Operation Broken Fang Case, and Snakebite Case. Knives are exceptionally rare drops from these cases, with a combined drop rate of approximately 0.26% for any knife. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking.
