Origin Story

The Paracord Knife | Boreal Forest features a forest camouflage hydrographic, presenting a muted olive green, dark forest green, brown, and black pattern across its blade and handle. Released on November 19, 2019, as part of the Operation Shattered Web update, this knife offers a realistic military aesthetic. It is often chosen by players seeking a unique knife silhouette without the higher cost of more expensive models. The Boreal Forest pattern is recognized for its older, budget military-camo appearance.

• Field-Tested ($65.72): Noticeable chipping appears along the blade edge and spine, while the camo pattern remains readable but slightly less crisp and vibrant.
• Well-Worn ($66.50): Heavier wear is present along the cutting edge, tip, and spine, with larger exposed metal patches and the camo appearing muted and partially broken up.

Model

Boreal Forest uses the legacy Paracord Knife model, introduced with Operation Shattered Web on November 19, 2019. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The Paracord Knife | Boreal Forest is obtained as a rare special item from opening an Operation Shattered Web Case, Fracture Case, or Snakebite Case. These cases contain the same pool of Shattered Web knives. As with all knives, it is a highly infrequent drop from these cases, which no longer drop actively in-game. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking.
