This skin was released on December 3, 2020, as part of The Control Collection during Operation Broken Fang. Its design transforms the SCAR-20 into a parchment-like canvas, stylized in rich purple hues. The Magna Carta stands out as a collector-focused piece, primarily valued for its association with the restricted Control Collection rather than broad community hype or meme status. Its appeal lies in its unique visual theme and its place within a collection tied to the Nuke environment.

Drop Chance

SCAR-20 | Magna Carta is Mil-Spec, a Blue-tier skin, less common than base collection drops. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Control Collection item pool. Map drops follow a weighted rarity system that heavily favors common grades, so Mil-Spec drops are uncommon and Valve doesn't publish per-skin odds. While the operation has concluded, new copies of this Mil-Spec rifle skin can still enter circulation through rare collection drops. Players can also acquire it via trade-up contracts using ten lower-rarity skins from The Control Collection. For direct purchase, the skin is readily available on the Steam Community Market and various third-party marketplaces. It is also found on case-opening and skin-trading sites.
