Origin Story

The AUG | Snake Pit features a hydrographic pattern of snakes and amphibians, giving it an earthy, camouflage-like appearance. It was released on April 25, 2023, as part of The Anubis Collection, coinciding with the Anubis map update. This skin is a Consumer Grade rifle from the collection, making it an accessible option for players looking to complete an Anubis-themed inventory. Its visual identity is defined by its muted greens, browns, and tans, with the scaled texture of the creatures prominently displayed on the weapon's body.

Drop Chance

AUG | Snake Pit is Consumer Grade, the most common drop tier in CS2. It has appeared across 5 tournament packages, most recently the Copenhagen 2024 Anubis Souvenir Package, Paris 2023 Anubis Souvenir Package, and Shanghai 2024 Anubis Souvenir Package.


Souvenir Packages are awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the corresponding map, not opened from cases, so Valve doesn't publish per-skin drop odds. Each package contains one item from The Anubis Collection, with rarity tiers drawn on a weighted system that heavily favors common grades, meaning Consumer Grade skins like Snake Pit are a small fraction of total package contents. There are 4 other Consumer Grade skins in the collection competing for the same drop slot. New copies only enter the market when a recipient chooses to open their package, so supply trickles in over time even after the tournament ends.

Skin Condition

Float range 0 to 0.55. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is not available for this skin.

• Factory New ($0.52): The custom pattern of snakes and amphibians is fully intact with strong green, brown, and tan tones, showing minimal edge wear.
• Minimal Wear ($0.19): The snake pattern remains vibrant, with only tiny nicks or very light fading beginning to appear on sharp edges like the muzzle or stock corners.
• Field-Tested ($0.09): Noticeable fading and surface wear develop along frequently handled sections, with some edge chipping revealing the base material, though the snake pattern remains clearly legible.
• Well-Worn ($0.09): The hydrographic layer appears significantly worn with pronounced discoloration and larger patches of fading, especially on the front assembly and stock, making the pattern look muted.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.08): There is significant loss of vibrancy, with the snakes and amphibians looking heavily faded and base material visibly exposed on multiple edges and plates, resulting in a washed-out appearance.
