Origin Story

The Galil AR | VariCamo, released on November 27, 2013, as part of The Safehouse Collection, features a hydrographic application of a woodland camouflage pattern. Its design uses a classic military aesthetic with earthy tones of brown, tan, green, and muted grey. This skin was introduced with the "Out with the old, in with the new" update. As an Industrial Grade skin from an early map collection, it is primarily recognized for its utilitarian design.

Galil AR | VariCamo is Industrial Grade, a common skin tier, one step above Consumer Grade. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Safehouse Collection item pool. • Factory New ($0.46): The woodland camouflage pattern of tan, brown, green, and muted grey appears sharp and fully saturated across the Galil AR's body, with smooth, intact surfaces.
• Minimal Wear ($0.09): The pattern remains very clean, with only tiny edge scuffs or faint fading beginning on high-contact areas like the handguard and receiver edges.
• Field-Tested ($0.06): Camo colors become noticeably duller, with more visible surface wear on the handguard, receiver edges, and around the magazine well, making the rifle appear used.
• Well-Worn ($0.08): The hydrographic pattern looks noticeably faded, with scuffed edges and more exposed underlying metal or base color on key contact points, showing broader worn patches.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.07): The camouflage is heavily washed out, with large areas of faded or thinned pattern and visible base materials on exposed edges and corners, emphasizing a rugged, heavily-used military look.

VariCamo uses the legacy Galil AR model, introduced with Out with the old, in with the new on November 27, 2013. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.
