Origin Story

The MP9 | Green Plaid, released on July 1, 2014, as part of The Baggage Collection during Operation Breakout, features a hydrographic application of a taupe and blue-green plaid pattern. Its design offers a distinct visual identity, characterized by the woven textile appearance.

Drop Chance

MP9 | Green Plaid is Consumer Grade, the most common drop tier in CS2. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Baggage Collection item pool. Map drops follow a weighted rarity system that heavily favors common grades, so Consumer Grade drops are uncommon and Valve doesn't publish per-skin odds. Green Plaid uses the legacy MP9 model, introduced with Operation Breakout on July 1, 2014. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.
