Origin Story

The SCAR-20 | Green Marine, released on September 17, 2015, as part of the Shadow Boxing update, is a Mil-Spec skin from The Shadow Collection. It features a camouflage pattern with metallic paint, presenting a military-inspired look for the sniper rifle. The design incorporates green, dark olive green, and metallic grey/black tones. This skin is generally regarded as a common, low-profile option, fitting the role of a standard camo or budget choice within its weapon category. Green Marine uses the legacy SCAR-20 model, introduced with Shadow Boxing on September 17, 2015. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The SCAR-20 | Green Marine is primarily found by opening a Shadow Case. While the Shadow Case is no longer in the active drop pool, existing cases can still be opened for a chance to receive this Mil-Spec rifle skin. Players can also acquire it through trade-up contracts using ten lower-rarity skins from The Shadow Collection. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking. For direct purchase, the skin is readily available on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, and various case-opening or skin trading sites.
