Origin Story

The R8 Revolver | Reboot, released on June 16, 2016, as part of the Gamma Collection, brings a tech-inspired look to the revolver. It features red accents over silver and black panels, creating a futuristic, "rebooted hardware" appearance. This Custom Paint Job finish evokes the aesthetic of a high-tech device. The skin was introduced with the Gamma Exposure update and remains a Restricted-grade option within the Gamma series.

• Well-Worn ($1.47): Wear becomes pronounced across the frame, with larger patches of faded or missing paint on edges and high-touch areas, softening the contrast between panels and making red accents appear patchy.
• Battle-Scarred ($1.41): Large portions of the outer edges and high-contact parts show heavy fading and chipping, with some areas appearing washed-out, though the core panel layout remains identifiable.

Reboot uses the legacy R8 Revolver model, introduced with Gamma Exposure on June 16, 2016. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

The R8 Revolver | Reboot is primarily obtained by opening a Gamma Case. Players can also acquire this Restricted rarity skin through trade-up contracts, using ten lower-rarity skins from The Gamma Collection. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking.
