Origin Story

The Navaja Knife | Stained, released on August 3, 2018, as part of the A New Horizon update, features a blade given a forced patina. Its in-game description notes that lemon and mustard were dripped onto the surface to create its unique discoloration. This process results in a muted, worn-metal look with irregular staining rather than a uniform color. The finish presents a subtle palette of silver-gray and brownish tones, emphasizing the blade's aged appearance.

• Factory New ($191.18): The blade and handle display a clean, relatively uniform patina with clearly visible mottled stains and minimal edge wear.
• Minimal Wear ($75.99): The patina remains largely intact, with only very light dulling on blade edges and the tip, and the stained pattern is still clearly visible.
• Field-Tested ($64.89): The blade's overall tone darkens slightly, with more visible wear along the cutting edge and tip, and the patina may appear more muted.
• Well-Worn ($58.00): The patina appears noticeably more faded or smoothed out, with larger areas of the blade looking like flat, darker metal and less visible mottling.
• Battle-Scarred ($58.54): The blade and handle show heavy dulling, and the patina becomes very muted, with large sections appearing almost like plain dark steel.

Model

Stained uses the legacy Navaja Knife model, introduced with A New Horizon on August 3, 2018. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.
