The Skeleton Knife | Stained was released on November 19, 2019, as part of the Operation Shattered Web update. Its distinctive appearance comes from a forced patina, created by dripping lemon and mustard onto the blade's surface. This process gives the knife a unique, mottled finish. Stained uses the legacy Skeleton Knife model, introduced with Operation Shattered Web on November 19, 2019. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.
