The Paracord Knife | Case Hardened was introduced on November 19, 2019, as part of the Operation Shattered Web update, featuring a blade that has been color case-hardened through the application of wood charcoal at high temperatures. This process results in a distinctive metallic sheen with a varied mix of blue, purple, gold, and brown tones across its surface, making each knife unique. The Paracord's handle is a utilitarian cord-wrap, directing visual attention primarily to the blade's colorful pattern. As a modern operation knife, it offers a contemporary profile with the classic, pattern-driven appeal of the Case Hardened finish.

Case Hardened uses the legacy Paracord Knife model, introduced with Operation Shattered Web on November 19, 2019. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The Paracord Knife | Case Hardened is obtainable as a rare special item from the Shattered Web Case. This case is no longer in the active drop pool, so new supply comes from opening existing cases or purchasing them on the market. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking.
