Origin Story

The Negev Ultralight was introduced on August 7, 2020, as part of The Fracture Collection, launched alongside the On the Case update. It is generally regarded by the community as an accessible, clean-looking option for the Negev.

Drop Chance

Negev | Ultralight is Mil-Spec, a Blue-tier skin, less common than base collection drops. From the Fracture Case: approximately 11.42% per opening (roughly 1 in 9). The 79.92% Mil-Spec tier rate is split across 7 Mil-Spec skins in the case. StatTrak versions drop at ~1.14% from the Fracture Case (about 1 in 88). These per-skin odds assume equal weighting within tier — Valve publishes tier rates but doesn't formally confirm even distribution across skins in a tier.

Skin Condition

Float range 0 to 0.79. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is available in FN, MW, FT, WW, BS.

• Factory New ($0.70): The gray digital camo is clean and sharp, with the teal arrows appearing bright and fully intact.
• Minimal Wear ($0.20): The pattern and teal arrows remain crisp, with only slight wear appearing on the most exposed edges.
• Field-Tested ($0.12): Noticeable edge chipping is present on the barrel shroud, receiver corners, and magazine, and the gray camo may appear slightly duller.
• Well-Worn ($0.10): Larger areas of chipped and faded paint are visible, making the gray digital camo look more washed-out with prominent underlying metal showing on edges.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.10): Heavy wear covers edges and exposed surfaces, with large portions of the digital camo and teal arrows scratched-through or muted.

Model

Ultralight uses the legacy Negev model, introduced with On the Case on August 7, 2020. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The Negev | Ultralight is primarily obtained by opening a Fracture Case, which is still an active drop in CS2. Players can also acquire it through trade-up contracts, combining ten lower-rarity Mil-Spec skins from the Fracture Collection to receive a skin of the next tier. A StatTrak version is available for those who wish to track their kills. For direct purchase, the skin is readily available on the Steam Community Market, various third-party marketplaces, and skin trading platforms.

Price Range

Negev | Ultralight ranges from $0.10 (Battle-Scarred) to $0.70 (Factory New). Field-Tested copies sit at $0.12. StatTrak versions carry a premium at every wear tier.

Visual Theme

Custom Paint Job: It has been custom painted with a gray digital camo pattern and teal arrows. The design features various gray tones with bright teal arrows as accent graphics. In first-person, the upper receiver, feed area, and barrel shroud prominently display the gray digital camo, with the bold teal arrow motif visible along the weapon's side.

Sticker Compatibility

The Negev | Ultralight's gray digital camo and teal arrows pair well with blue, teal, or cyan stickers, as well as white, silver, and neutral gray options. Minimalist black or monochrome stickers can also create a subdued, tactical look. The most visible sticker slots in first-person are on the rear receiver and feed cover.
