Origin Story

The Negev | Drop Me, part of The Recoil Collection, was introduced to CS2 on July 1, 2022, with the A New Cassssssse update. This Mil-Spec skin features a custom-painted stop sign graphic near the assault grip, set against a predominantly brown base. Its design is further defined by the flavor text, "If the stop sign doesn't convince you the stream of bullets will," highlighting its assertive visual. The skin is a common, accessible item within the game, offering a distinctive look for the heavy weapon.

Drop Chance

Negev | Drop Me is Mil-Spec, a Blue-tier skin, less common than base collection drops. From the Recoil Case: approximately 11.42% per opening (roughly 1 in 9). The 79.92% Mil-Spec tier rate is split across 7 Mil-Spec skins in the case. StatTrak versions drop at ~1.14% from the Recoil Case (about 1 in 88). • Factory New ($1.27): The brown base and red and white stop sign graphic are clean and saturated, with edges and corners appearing sharp and fully painted.
• Minimal Wear ($0.26): Minor wear begins to appear on high-contact edges, particularly near the assault grip and front body, but the stop sign remains very bright.
• Field-Tested ($0.12): Noticeable chipping and scratches appear on edges, especially along the top cover and near the grip, while the brown base begins to dull slightly.
• Well-Worn ($0.10): Extensive chipping across many edges and surfaces makes the brown base noticeably faded, and the stop sign shows heavy edge wear, though it remains identifiable.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.09): Paint coverage is heavily degraded with large segments of exposed underlayer or metal, and the stop sign graphic may be significantly chipped or partially missing.

How to Obtain

The Negev | Drop Me is primarily obtained by opening a Recoil Case, which contains The Recoil Collection. This case is now in the rare drop pool, meaning new supply comes mainly from existing case inventories and rare drops rather than frequent post-match rewards. Players can also acquire the skin through trade-up contracts, using ten lower-rarity skins from The Recoil Collection. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking. For direct purchase, the skin is readily available on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, and various case-opening or skin-trading sites.
