Origin Story

The AUG | Surveillance features a custom paint job that overlays a detailed map pattern with a bird's eye HUD, giving the weapon a tactical, monitor-like appearance. The skin presents a surveillance or radar interface theme, with the map grid and HUD markings prominently visible on the receiver and scope-side body during gameplay. It serves as a functional AUG option within The Control Collection, which also includes the AWP | Fade and M4A1-S | Blue Phosphor.

Drop Chance

AUG | Surveillance is Consumer Grade, the most common drop tier in CS2. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Control Collection item pool. Map drops follow a weighted rarity system that heavily favors common grades, so Consumer Grade drops are uncommon and Valve doesn't publish per-skin odds. There are 4 other Consumer Grade skins in the collection competing for the same drop slot. Most copies enter the market through trade-up contracts or direct purchase at a listed seller's price.

Skin Condition

Float range 0 to 0.6. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is not available for this skin.

• Factory New ($3.03): The cool greys, muted blues, and off-whites of the map pattern and bird's-eye HUD overlay are at their sharpest, with all details crisp.
• Minimal Wear ($2.34): Minor micro-scratches may appear on the foregrip edges and front of the barrel shroud, but the overall surveillance interface design remains clean.
• Field-Tested ($2.15): Noticeable wear begins on high-contact areas like the receiver edges and front shroud, with some subtle dulling of the anodized colors.
• Well-Worn ($1.96): Heavy wear is present on prominent surfaces, with parts of the anodized map finish significantly faded toward base metal tones, though the HUD theme is still visible.
• Battle-Scarred ($1.96): Substantial scratching and fading cover most exposed surfaces, with parts of the map and HUD overlay partially obscured by wear, yet the overall tactical theme remains identifiable.

Model

Surveillance uses the current AUG model, added with Operation Broken Fang on December 3, 2020. The Anodized finish responds to CS2's dynamic lighting.

How to Obtain

The AUG | Surveillance originates from The Control Collection, which was initially available during Operation Broken Fang. While it no longer drops from active operations, it can still be acquired by opening Control Collection packages or through trade-up contracts using ten lower-rarity skins from the same collection.

Price Range

AUG | Surveillance ranges from $1.96 (Battle-Scarred) to $3.03 (Factory New). Field-Tested copies sit at $2.15.
