Origin Story

The Bayonet | Scorched first appeared in CS2 with the Arms Deal update on August 14, 2013, as part of the original pool of knife finishes available from early weapon cases. Its design features a spray-painted, sun-dappled pattern in dark brown, tan, and black, giving it a camouflage-like appearance. The finish covers the blade and guard, with the irregular, patchy tan-over-dark pattern being most visible on the blade faces. This skin is known for its utilitarian, military-style aesthetic, contrasting with more vibrant knife finishes. It is a classic entry-level knife option, often chosen by players seeking a clean and understated look without the premium price of flashier alternatives.

Drop Chance

Bayonet | Scorched is a knife-tier skin, so standard Valve rarity odds don't apply. Knives drop at a combined rate of approximately 0.26% from supported cases before accounting for which knife type and finish you get. Valve doesn't publish individual knife or phase probabilities.

Skin Condition

Float range 0.06 to 0.8. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is available in FN, MW, FT, WW, BS.

• Factory New ($388.04): The sun-dappled pattern of dark brown and tan is full and dense across the blade and guard, with crisp edges.
• Minimal Wear ($197.38): The spray pattern remains largely intact and saturated, showing only small patches of edge fading or micro-scratches. This is often viewed as a value pick for a clean-looking knife.
• Field-Tested ($201.24): Noticeable fading appears along the edges and mid-blade, with more of the underlying darker metal visible as the pattern starts to look more patchy. This is typically the cheapest "normal-looking" tier.
• Well-Worn ($176.67): The spray paint is substantially thinned, particularly on the edges and toward the tip, making large parts of the blade appear dull and washed-out.
• Battle-Scarred ($193.85): Extensive wear is present on the blade, with much of the dark brown and tan spray pattern worn away on exposed surfaces, resulting in a heavily used appearance.

Scorched uses the legacy Bayonet model, introduced with The Arms Deal on August 14, 2013. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The Bayonet | Scorched is primarily obtained as a rare special item from opening older cases such as the CS:GO Weapon Case, CS:GO Weapon Case 2, CS:GO Weapon Case 3, eSports 2013 Case, eSports 2013 Winter Case, and eSports 2014 Summer Case. These cases are now considered legacy drops and no longer appear as standard gameplay rewards. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking.
