Origin Story

The Bayonet | Slaughter, introduced on August 14, 2013, with The Arms Deal update, is a classic red premium knife finish. Its blade features a zebra-stripe pattern painted with aluminum and chrome, then covered with a vibrant tomato red candy coat, creating a glossy, reflective appearance. This finish is considered a status symbol among collectible knives, with its distinctive red and silver palette making it a highly sought-after item. The in-game description notes that "Valeria doesn't pay Javier to ask questions... she pays him to pry out answers."

Drop Chance

Bayonet | Slaughter is a knife-tier skin, so standard Valve rarity odds don't apply. Knives drop at a combined rate of approximately 0.26% from supported cases before accounting for which knife type and finish you get. Valve doesn't publish individual knife or phase probabilities.

Skin Condition

Float range 0.01 to 0.26. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested. StatTrak is available in FN, MW, FT.

• Factory New ($581.17): The blade's tomato red candy coat is very clean and glossy, with the zebra stripe pattern appearing crisp and reflective, and the knife's edges and tip are sharp.
• Minimal Wear ($477.65): The overall appearance remains very close to Factory New, with strong red color and good shine, though small abrasions begin to appear on high-contact areas like the tip and spine.
• Field-Tested ($469.40): The red remains clearly visible, but the finish loses some of its high-gloss look, and edge wear becomes distinctly visible along the tip and cutting edge, with the metallic underlayer starting to show through.

Slaughter uses the legacy Bayonet model, introduced with The Arms Deal on August 14, 2013. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

The Bayonet | Slaughter is obtainable as a rare special item from the original CS:GO Weapon Case, CS:GO Weapon Case 2, and CS:GO Weapon Case 3. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking.
