Origin Story

The MAC-10 | Tornado, released on August 14, 2013, with The Arms Deal update, is a Consumer Grade skin from The Militia Collection. Its design features individual parts spray-painted in solid, muted colors, creating a dual-tone aesthetic described as a "tornado color scheme." This utilitarian look gives the skin a subdued appearance. The Tornado is recognized as an early, low-tier skin that appeals to those collecting legacy items or assembling a complete Militia-themed loadout.

Drop Chance

MAC-10 | Tornado is Consumer Grade, the most common drop tier in CS2. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Militia Collection item pool. Map drops follow a weighted rarity system that heavily favors common grades, so Consumer Grade drops are uncommon and Valve doesn't publish per-skin odds. • Minimal Wear ($10.67): The light grey-beige and darker grey/brown solid colors remain nearly intact, with only light edge wear on the most exposed corners of the receiver or magazine.
• Field-Tested ($3.60): Noticeable but moderate edge wear appears on the front of the receiver, near the muzzle, and around the magazine well, with small patches of darker base metal beginning to show.
• Well-Worn ($5.70): Heavier abrasions are present across edges and some flat surfaces, with multiple areas of the body showing exposed metal, making the solid colors appear more muted.
• Battle-Scarred ($3.05): Extensive wear covers the weapon, with large portions of edges and surfaces losing their topcoat and revealing underlying metal, giving the dual-tone scheme a heavily weathered look.

Tornado uses the legacy MAC-10 model, introduced with The Arms Deal on August 14, 2013. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.
