Origin Story

The Butterfly Knife | Stained, released on July 1, 2014, as part of the Operation Breakout update, presents a dark, mottled patina. Its visual identity is defined by a rough, worn metal appearance. The in-game description notes that the finish was achieved by applying lemon and mustard to the surface to force a patina.
