Origin Story

The M9 Bayonet | Damascus Steel is a mid to high-tier classic knife, recognized for its clean aesthetic and flexibility as a craft base. Introduced on January 8, 2015, as part of the Full Spectrum update, this knife features a layered wavy steel pattern. Its design captures the look of real-world Damascus blades, forged from two different types of carbon steel.

• Field-Tested ($679.65): Noticeable darkening and dulling of the blade occur, with the Damascus pattern becoming less crisp, especially toward the cutting edge and tip, marking a clear visual shift from cleaner tiers.
• Well-Worn ($676.34): The blade appears considerably darker and more matte, with the Damascus waves less pronounced, and edge wear exposing more plain underlying metal, making it the cheapest practical tier.

Model

Damascus Steel uses the legacy M9 Bayonet model, introduced with Full Spectrum on January 8, 2015. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The M9 Bayonet | Damascus Steel is obtainable as a rare special item from opening the Chroma 3 Case. Since the Chroma 3 Case is now a rare drop in CS2, its supply is limited by the infrequent drops and openings of these cases. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking.
