Origin Story

The AUG | Akihabara Accept features a vibrant anime magazine cover design, making it a highly distinctive skin in CS2. Released on May 26, 2015, as part of The Rising Sun Collection with Operation Bloodhound, its artwork depicts a large anime girl character alongside Japanese text and stylized panels. This unique visual identity has cemented its status as a high-end collector's item, often considered a "holy grail" for anime fans and collectors. Its extreme rarity from the discontinued collection further contributes to its prestige.

Drop Chance

AUG | Akihabara Accept is Covert, a Red-tier skin, the rarest standard drop grade. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Rising Sun Collection item pool. Map drops follow a weighted rarity system that heavily favors common grades, so Covert drops are uncommon and Valve doesn't publish per-skin odds. It is the only Covert skin in the collection.
